I have had an Ultimate Marking Pencil for nearly 18 years, it is still my favourite & I still use my original pencil! This pencil lead is very smooth and at 0.5mm leaves the finest line of any marking tool I have ever found. If I misplace I have to find it immediately so when I found it at this price I ordered more. This has been in my quilt project box for years. It is smooth to write designs for quilting and easy to see on both domestic and long arm machines. Now I am learning the art of creating batik eggs. Much of the same skills are used for egg art. This pencil allows us to write on a white egg without smudging through the dye process and wipes off easily when it is time.
