Purple Ombre Yarn
This is a beautiful variegate array of purple and shades of lavender and plum. After buying the Serenity kit afghan at Mary Maxim, I decided to use my own colors. I stuck with the purple/lavender colors, but wanted it a little brighter. I also used the "Emperor" color for my deep purple color and the soft white as other substitutes. I also find it easier to work with the four ply instead of using two 2-ply yarns for the variegated rows. If you check this afghan pattern out, you will see what I mean. I will also try other color themes because everyone that gets one of these afghans raves about them--you know family, once one gets one they all want one! Good luck creating!
