THIS IS MY 2ND ONE I ORDERED AND I JUST LOVE IT. OTHER THIMBLES SEEMS TO ALWAYS FALL OFF MY FINGER......I LIKE THAT THIS ONCE IS OPEN AT THE NAIL AND WILL STAY ON MY FINGER.

Best thimble for applique

Best thimble. I use it for Hawaiian applique. Adjustable feature is great. I have tiny fingers and a small was perfect.

My nails are no longer in the way!!!

I don't often have long nails but when I do it is impossible to wear my regular thimble - it simply falls off. I'd heard of the open thimble but has never seen one until I came to Create For Less and 'lo and behold' there one was. I've only used it for a short period of time but feel sure it is going to 'fit the bill'. I'm so pleased to finally have one. About Me: Sewer or Quilter,Knitter or CrocheterSkill Level: Expert
