You have so many items, how do I find the craft supplies I’m looking for?

There are 3 easy ways to search for products at CreateForLess. You can search by entering keywords into the 'Search' box located at the top of every page. If you are searching for something specific, simply type in the product, brand or CreateForLess Part Number. You can also go directly to any of our Departments such as Scrapbooking, from the pink tabs at the top of every page. Or at the bottom of every page, you can browse by Brand, Craft Types, Holidays & Seasons and more. Here's a few more helpful product searching tips.

Do you offer wholesale prices?

No, we are a craft retail store, and cannot offer wholesale prices for the items we sell.

What do I do if I forget my password?

If you forget your password when signing into your account, you can still access your information. Click the "Forgot your password?" link, enter your email address and click 'Submit'. We will email you a new password right away, and then you can login to your account with that new password. If you are still unable to sign into your account, Contact Us and we can assist you further.

How do I change My Account information?

Once you've set up an account with CreateForLess, you can edit your account information at any time. Simply log into your account and click the 'Edit your account email address or password' link to edit your account login information.  Or click the 'Edit your billing or shipping address' link to change your address information.

I’m having difficulties putting items in my shopping cart.

If you are unable to add items to your shopping cart, you may need to change the settings on your cookies. This problem generally occurs if you do not have your cookies enabled. A cookie allows you to save the items in your shopping cart, through your web browser program. To change the settings on your cookies, if you use Internet Explorer, select Start, Control Panel, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced, Override Automatic Cookie Handling. If you use AOL, select Settings, Preferences, Internet properties, Privacy and adjust the cookies settings. If you use Chrome, select Tools, Options, Under the Hood, Content Settings in the Privacy section, and select Allow Local Data to be Set. If you use Firefox, select Tools, Options, Privacy, Use Custom Settings for History, Allow Cookies from Sites.

Do you have a printed catalog?

CreateForLess does not produce a printed catalog at this time. Selling our products exclusively on the Internet enables us to offer our everyday low prices. This means we pass our savings on directly to our customers. Plus, our inventory of over 60,000 items would produce a catalog the size of an encyclopedia set!

The item I would like to purchase is Out of Stock. Can I still order it?

If an item is Out of Stock, you will be unable to add it to your shopping cart. We do not have a backorder system in place at this time. If you would like to order the item when it’s back in stock, click ‘Notify Me’ next to the item, enter your email address and we will send you an email as soon as it is back in stock. When you receive the ‘Product Update from CreateForLess’ email notification, you can place another order for the item. Depending on when the warehouse receives the next shipment from the manufacturer, it generally will be back in stock in approximately 2 weeks.

How do I place an order?

When you've found the items you'd like to purchase, enter the quantity you'd like and click the 'Add to Cart' button. After adding all of the items to your shopping cart, click the 'Cart' button. From here select the 'Checkout' button. If you have a CreateForLess account, enter your email address and password to sign in. If you do not have an account, click 'Continue Guest Checkout' or 'Create an Account'. Next you will enter your billing and shipping address information and click 'Checkout'. On the Shipping page select your preferred shipping method and click 'Checkout'. On the final Place Order page, review your order, enter your credit card information and click 'Place Order' to finalize your purchase. What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and US money orders.

Is it safe to use my credit card?

Do you charge sales tax?

CreateForLess does not charge our customers a sales tax. Our products are shipped from Oregon, which does not have a sales tax; therefore we are able to offer you tax free shopping.

International Shipping Rates and Information

Are there any shipping restrictions for oversized and heavy items?

Certain oversized and heavy items can only be shipped via Standard or Economy shipping or only to addresses within the contiguous United States. These items include, but are not limited to selected bolts of felt, Styrofoam, gallons of liquids and wax, and will be noted when placing your order with a red label. These specified items cannot be shipped via air shipment due to their excessive size, weight and/or air shipment costs. If your shopping cart contains any of these items, Next Day or 2 Day Air shipment options will not be available when you select your shipping method on the checkout page. Certain oversized and heavy and items cannot be shipped internationally. These items will be noted when placing your order.To send the items in your shopping cart that are not oversized or heavy via air, you will have to place a separate order for those products. Due to the extra cost to ship, an additional oversized shipping charge may be applied to some oversized and heavy items.

Are there any shipping restrictions for aerosol items?

Federal regulations prohibit the shipment of aerosol products by air. Therefore, we cannot ship spray paint, spray adhesive, or any other aerosol product to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, military bases, or internationally,

Aerosol products cannot be expedited, but can be shipped with the Standard or Economy shipping options. Most of these items will be noted in the item's product description and during checkout. If your shopping cart contains any aerosol items, air shipment options will not be available when you select your shipping method on the checkout page. To send the non-aerosol items in your shopping cart via air, you will have to place a separate order for those products.

Where can I ship my order?

CreateForLess ships anywhere UPS and USPS services are available. This includes the 48 contiguous states in the U.S, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, Virgin Islands, P.O. Boxes and Military Bases. We also offer international shipping to Canada, Australia and New Zealand at this time, see International Shipping for more details.

Are there any special exceptions for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam and Virgin Islands shipments?

All orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam or the Virgin Islands will be shipped with USPS Priority Mail, which is our Standard shipping option. If you are shipping a $100 or more order to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the Virgin Islands, you will receive a discount on Standard shipping, with a shipping charge of only 15% of your purchase. Aerosol cans cannot be shipped to these places, and there are also some restrictions on heavy or oversized items. USPS Priority Mail should take approximately 6 business days to reach recipients.

Can I order by phone?

Our customer service representatives are happy to take your order by phone. Please contact us toll free at 866.333.4463, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. To help our customer service representatives place your order the most efficiently, please have the CreateForLess Part Numbers of the items you would like to purchase available when you call.

When does my credit card get charged?

When you finalize your order, your credit card will be processed to verify funds, but your card will not be charged until your order is shipped.

Can I make changes to my order after I clicked Place Order?

Once you click 'Place Order', your order is sent to our warehouse instantly. Because our warehouse is beginning to process your order for shipping as soon as your order is finalized, you will be unable to change your order after this time. You can create another order if you would like additional supplies or return the items once you receive them. If you need further assistance, please Contact Us.

How long will it take to receive my order?

How do I track my order?

CreateForLess will send you an email confirmation, with an order summary and tracking #, the day your order is shipped. You can track the status of your order by clicking on the tracking # in your shipping confirmation email.  You can also go to http://www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US&WT.svl=PriNav, enter your tracking # and click 'Track'. Or visit our Track Order page, and enter your email address and zip code to track your order.

An item did not ship in my order, will it be placed on backorder?

CreateForLess does not backorder items not shipped. Our goal is have accurate and up to the minute inventory counts prior to placing your order, so that you will receive exactly what you ordered. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, occasionally our inventory count is incorrect and we are unable to ship the quantity ordered. If an item is out of stock at the time the order is fulfilled, it will be canceled from the order. You will not be charged for this item and your total order charge will be adjusted accordingly.

To reorder an out of stock item, search for the item on our site, click ‘Notify Me’, enter your email address and we will send you an email as soon as it is back in stock. When you receive the ‘Product Update from CreateForLess’ email notification, you can place another order for the item. Depending on when the warehouse receives the next shipment from the manufacturer, it generally will be back in stock in approximately 2 weeks. If you have any further questions, please contact us.

How do I return an item?

If you are not completely satisfied with your CreateForLess purchase, you may return your merchandise within 30 days of receiving your order. Visit the Returns Section for instructions on how to return products to CreateForLess.

CreateForLess offers discount prices for buying in bulk quantities for selected items. You will notice different types of pricing descriptions displayed, depending on the item:

If the product has "Buy in Bulk & Save" prices displayed, then you have the option to buy a smaller quantity of that item, or buy in bulk and receive additional discounts. From the example above, if you add 1 or 2 items to your cart, the price will be $3.62 per item. If you purchase 2, the total price will be $3.62 x 2 = $7.24. Or if you buy 3 or more, you will receive a bulk discount price of $3.29 per item, 3 x $3.29 = $9.87. The total item price will be shown in your shopping cart.

If the product has a "This item is sold as..." explanation, then there is a minimum quantity and increment required to purchase. This generally applies to items such as cardstock, DMC floss or stickers, that we can only ship as a set, box or package, due to size and packaging issues. For example, we would be unable to ship 1 sheet of cardstock, 1 skein of floss, or 1 sticker, but we can ship the entire 25 pack of cardstock, box of 12 skeins or 3 packs of stickers. Additionally, the price displayed is for the entire set, pack or box, not the price per sheet, skein, sticker, etc. In the example above, if a cardstock pack is only sold as a pack of 25 sheets, if you add 1 pack to your cart, the price will be $6.25 per pack, and you will receive 25 sheets of cardstock. If you add 2 packs to your cart, the price will be $12.50, and you will receive 50 sheets of cardstock.

Single Price / Package

If the product has a "Price / package" displayed, then there is only a single price and no bulk discount price available for this item. For example, if the price displayed is "Price: $16.74 / package", you will receive the same price per item, whether you purchase 1, 2 or more of that product.
