You have so many items, how do I find the craft supplies I’m looking for?
There are 3 easy ways to search for products at CreateForLess. You can search by entering keywords into the ‘Search Site’ box located at the top of every page. If you are searching for something specific, simply type in the product, brand or CreateForLess Part #. You can also use the ‘Browse’ button to search by Departments (Sewing & Quilting), Craft Type (Scrapbooking), Item Type (cardstock), Brands (Fiskars), Holidays & Seasons (Halloween), or Themes & Occasions (Birthdays). Do you offer wholesale prices?
CreateForLess is an online discount retailer with prices in between wholesale and retail. We are unable to offer wholesale pricing.
What is a purchase multiple?
On the ‘Product Detail’ page and when adding items to your shopping cart, you will see the statement “The Purchase Multiple is __ packages/bottles/pieces, etc”. The Purchase Multiple is the minimum quantity and increments that you can purchase. The Purchase Multiple varies, depending on the product, often it is 1, but sometimes is 3, 6 or 12.
For example, if the Purchase Multiple for a package of stickers is 3, the minimum quantity of sticker packages you can order is 3. When you add the item to your shopping cart, it will add it in increments of 3. Therefore, you can purchase 3, 6, 9, etc. packages of stickers.
The shopping cart will also calculate the cost of the item for you. The price listed on the ‘Product Detail’ page is always for 1 item. For example, if the Purchase Multiple is 3 and the Price is $1.00, the shopping cart will multiply 3 x $1.00 to equal $3.00, 6 x $1.00 = $6.00, etc. This total price will be displayed in your shopping cart.
If the purchase multiple is 6, can I buy 6 different colors?
The purchase multiple is the minimum quantity for each individual color, size or shape. We are unable to combine different colors, sizes or shapes to meet the minimum purchase amount. In order to offer bulk quantities and prices, we keep all of our products in the same packaging from the manufacturer. Therefore we cannot make exceptions to our minimum purchase amount.
What do I do if I forget my password?
If you forget your password when signing into your account, you can still access your information. Enter your email address and click “Forgot your password? Click here”. The Hint Question that you entered when you signed up for an account will be displayed. Simply enter the answer to the question and you will be signed into your account. If you are still unable to sign into your account, Contact Us and we can assist you further.
How do I change My Account information?
Once you’ve set up an account with CreateForLess, you can edit your account information at any time. Simply log into your account and click the ‘Edit My Account’ button. From here you can edit your billing, shipping and credit card information. If you would like to change your email address, password or hint question and answer, click ‘Edit Sign In Information’. Then click the ‘Update’ button to finalize your changes.
I’m having difficulties putting items in my shopping cart?
If you are unable to add items to your shopping cart, you may need to change the settings on your cookies. This problem generally occurs if you do not have your cookies enabled. A cookie allows you to save the items in your shopping cart, through your web browser program. To change the settings on your cookies, if you use Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet options, Privacy. If you use Netscape, select Edit, Preferences, Privacy and Security, Cookies, Enable all cookies. If you use AOL, select Settings, Preferences, Internet properties, Privacy and adjust the cookies settings.
You also may have problems with the shopping cart, if you have a pop up blocker program installed on your computer. Our shopping cart is a pop up window and may be blocked by this program. To correct this, simply adjust your pop up blocker to accept www.CreateForLess.com.

Do you have a printed catalog?
CreateForLess does not produce a printed catalog at this time. By selling our products exclusively on the Internet, we can offer everyday discount prices. This means we pass our savings directly to our customers. Plus, 50,000 items would make our catalog the size of an encyclopedia set!
The item I would like to purchase is Out of Stock. Can I still order it?
If an item is Out of Stock, you will be unable to add it to your shopping cart. We do not have a backorder system in place at this time. If you would like to order the item when it’s back in stock, click ‘Notify Me’ next to the item, enter your email address and we will send you an email as soon as it is back in stock. When you receive the ‘Product Update from CreateForLess’ email notification, you can place another order for the item. Depending on when the warehouse receives the next shipment from the manufacturer, it generally will be back in stock in approximately 2 weeks.
How do I place an order?
Once you’ve found the craft supplies that you’d like to purchase, click ‘Add to Cart’ and select the quantity you’d like. After adding all of the items to your shopping cart, click the ‘Shopping Cart’ tab or ‘View Cart’ arrow. From here select the ‘Check Out’ button. If you have a CreateForLess account, click ‘Sign In’. If you do not have an account, enter your billing and shipping information. Next click ‘Proceed to Check Out’, select your shipping method, enter your credit card information and click ‘Finish Check Out’ to finalize your purchase. Is it safe to use my credit card?

Do you charge sales tax?
CreateForLess does not charge our customers a sales tax. Our products are shipped from Oregon, which does not have a sales tax; therefore we are able to offer you tax free shopping.

Are there any shipping restrictions for oversized and heavy items?
Certain oversized and heavy items can only be shipped via Standard shipping. These items include, but are not limited to selected bolts of felt, Styrofoam, gallons of liquids and wax, and will be noted when placing your order. These specified items cannot be shipped via air shipment due to their excessive size, weight and/or air shipment costs. If your shopping cart contains any of these items, Next Day or 2 Day Air shipment options will not be available when you select your shipping method on the check out page, and your entire order will ship by Standard shipment. To send the items in your shopping cart that are not oversized or heavy via air, you will have to place a separate order for those products. Also in some cases an additional shipping surcharge may be applied to other oversized and heavy items shipped via air shipment.
Are there any shipping restrictions for aerosol items?
Federal regulations prohibit the shipment of aerosol products by air. Aerosol items can only be shipped via Standard shipping, and not by Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, USPS Priority Mail or DHL@home delivery. If your shopping cart contains any aerosol items, air shipment options will not be available when you select your shipping method on the check out page, and your entire order will ship by Standard shipment. To send the non-aerosol items in your shopping cart via air, you will have to place a separate order for those products. All orders containing aerosol items shipping to Alaska or Hawaii can only be shipped via USPS Parcel Post, which takes approximately 4-6 weeks to arrive.
Where can I ship my order?
CreateForLess ships anywhere UPS and USPS services are available. This includes the 48 contiguous states in the U.S, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, P.O. Boxes and Military Bases. We regret that we are unable to ship outside the continental U.S. at this time.
Are there any special exceptions for Alaska and Hawaii shipments?
All shipments to Alaska and Hawaii ship via USPS Priority Mail. Orders shipped to AK and HA generally take about 6 business days to arrive. 2 Day Air and Next Day Air shipping are not available for AK and HA orders. Federal regulations prohibit the shipment of aerosol products by air, therefore all orders containing aerosol items can only be shipped to AK and HA via USPS Parcel Post, which takes approximately 4-6 weeks to arrive.
Can I order by phone?
Our customer service representatives are happy to take your order by phone. Please contact us toll free at 866.333.4463, Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time. To help our customer service representatives place your order the most efficiently, please have the CreateForLess Part Numbers of the items you would like to purchase available when you call.
When does my credit card get charged?
When you finalize your order, your credit card will be processed to verify funds, but your card will not be charged until your order is shipped.
Can I make changes to my order after I clicked ‘Finish Check Out’?
Once you click ‘Finish Check Out’, your order is sent to our warehouse instantly. Because our warehouse is beginning to process your order for shipping as soon as your order is finalized, you will be unable to change your order after this time. You can create another order if you would like additional supplies or return the items once you receive them. If you need further assistance, please Contact Us.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are generally shipped within 24 hours of placement, except when placed on Fridays after 12:00pm Noon (Pacific Standard Time), weekends and holidays. Orders placed during these times are usually shipped on the following business day. Orders shipped with Standard Service normally arrive within 1 to 6 business days after the order leaves our Oregon warehouse.
Most CreateForLess Standard Service orders are shipped via UPS Ground service. Some Standard Service packages less than 5 lbs. may be shipped via DHL@home service. These shipments are picked up from our warehouse by DHL and delivered by your USPS mail carrier. DHL@home packages generally arrive within 2 - 4 business days after your order leaves our warehouse. Additional order tracking information will be available in your shipping confirmation email.
For Next Day and 2 Day Air delivery, your order must be placed by 12:00pm Noon (Pacific Standard Time) Monday through Friday for it to be processed in that day’s delivery schedule. If your order is placed after these times, on a weekend or holiday, it will be shipped the following business day. Next Day orders will arrive 1 business day after your order leaves our warehouse and 2 Day Air orders will arrive 2 business days later. All aerosol products are unable to be shipped via Next Day, 2 Day Air, USPS Priority Mail or DHL@home delivery.
While most orders shipped to overseas APO and FPO military addresses arrive in a timely manner, occasionally shipments may take 2-4 weeks. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee delivery times to APO/FPO addresses.

How do I track my order?
CreateForLess will send you an email confirmation, with an order summary and tracking #, the day your order is shipped. If you do not have a CreateForLess account, you can track the status of your order by copying the tracking link in the shipping confirmation email. Then visit www.ups.com, click on the ‘Tracking’ tab and paste your tracking # into the appropriate field. If you have a CreateForLess account, click on the link provided in your shipping confirmation, which will display your Order Detail, and then click on the tracking number. You also can track your order by signing into your account, clicking Order History, then order [Detail], and the tracking number.
An item did not ship in my order, will it be placed on backorder?
CreateForLess does not backorder items not shipped. Our goal is have accurate and up to the minute inventory counts prior to placing your order, so that you will receive exactly what you ordered. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, occasionally our inventory count is incorrect and we are unable to ship the quantity ordered. If an item is out of stock at the time the order is fulfilled, it will be canceled from the order. You will not be charged for this item and your total order charge will be adjusted accordingly.
To reorder an out of stock item, search for the item on our site, click ‘Notify Me’, enter your email address and we will send you an email as soon as it is back in stock. When you receive the ‘Product Update from CreateForLess’ email notification, you can place another order for the item. How do I return an item?
