Patriotic Craft Ideas and Inspiration
Show off your American spirit this 4th of July with these patriotic crafts. I've created an All-American mood board with easy crafts, decorations, and patriotic products to help inspire you to decorate and celebrate this Independence Day. From an easy coffee filter garland to an impressive felt wreath, anyone and everyone can enjoy crafting these decorations for your next patriotic get-together.
All-American Projects and Inspiration
1. Independence Day Centerpieces. Use some Styrofoam sheets to create 3D star stands and add a red, white and blue floral arrangement on top. You can easily decorate your stars with Paper Accents Adhesive Vinyl in Removable Red and Removable Brilliant Blue. Add the Offray Tri-Stripe Ribbon, and you'll have an impressive and perfect American centerpiece.
2. Patriotic Bunting. Your kids can help create this easy and inexpensive decor for your next patriotic party. This garland is created using coffee filters dipped in food coloring. Kids will love watching the color soak into the coffee filter, and you'll love your new decoration. Use Aunt Lydia's Baker's Twine to hang your garland to make it extra patriotic.
3. 4th of July Bikes. Whether your kids are playing inside or participating in a parade, they'll love to decorate their bikes for the holiday. These rexlace handlebar fringes are easy for the kids to make and use some acrylic paint on a wood shape to create a personalized patriotic name plate.
4. Patriotic Wreath. This wreath is easier than it looks, and is the perfect addition to your American decor. Share it through Memorial Day, Flag Day, and into Independence Day. Little felt squares are tucked into the wreath in an American flag pattern. You can create your own 3D stars from styorfoam sheets, or use pre-cut chipboard stars to add decoration and texture. Add some glitter to the stars for a little shine.
