USA Sharpeners Needle Sharpening Pad

I bought this needle sharpening pad to extend the life of my sewing machine needles and it works! EVERY time I sit down to my machine I run the pad through my machine around 8-10 passes. I think that is more passes than the instructions require, but it works for me. If I am sewing for hours on end I try to run the pad through every time I change thread colors or every few hours of sewing time and I have noticed a distinct difference in my needles. I have not had to change my needle out for any new project I begin since I bought this sharpening pad, UNLESS the work I am doing requires a different needle for specialty thread or heavy weight fabric, etc. The premise behind this sharpening pad is an old time-tested technique presented in a new and easy-to-use way that works!
