It is 5" and expands to approximately 23.5" and has a 1/2" round magnet on the end and a pen like clip so it can be easily attached to a pocket, paper or plastic sleeve. On pins & needles

I love it! It is very useful for retreiving dropped scissors under the couch. I have given some to my friends at church in our sewing group. One lady has MS and is in a wheelchair. She uses hers to pick up dropped silverware when she is helping her husband set the table. Thanks for making this useful tool available to the sewing and crafting population.
